Why Pre-Wedding Boudoir Shoots Are a Must

Boudoir is defined as “a beautifully decorated room used in the past by a woman for sleeping, dressing, relaxing, and entertaining”(Cambridge Dictionary). Nowadays, boudoir photos mean more intimate photos, typically of a bride. Although anyone can do it of course! I was hesitant about this… mostly I was nervous about feeling exposed. But here is the thing, you don’t have to be naked, or even skimpily dressed to take boudoir photos. My photographer offered a free session in the package for our wedding photography. So, I took the plunge. And I am so glad I did!

Exhaustion and What to do About It

I’ve been completely MIA from my site, and have tried to get back into the swing of things. But, I keep taking on too much. And it exhausts me. I am in a constant exhaustion. Between school, my part time paying job, working with Her Track and Way Up, and planning a wedding, it’s hard to keep up.

Mental health is often a subject that is tip toed around. No one wants to discuss what it truly means. You make think it’d be easier if your entire family has some form of mental illness, but in fact the opposite is true. They all assume your anxiety is the same as theirs. They think the voices in your head say the same things as theirs.
