I know it’s been forever since I’ve posted! I recently launched a new website for my freelance design. You can check it out here. But, I wanted to share a very important blog post with you guys. As many of you know, I have been on medication for depression and anxiety. And now, I want to tell you about my experience going off of that medication (Zoloft to be specific).
Like cupcake bakeries, spin classes, and escape rooms; bath bombs have become en vogue within the last few years. You can find bath bombs from high-end spa to your local big box store. With their fun fizzy effect, soothing scents, it is not a shock that that they have become such a big success. Baths have multiple benefits: 1) they help detoxify the body and keep hair and skin healthy and 2) psychologist have said a warm bath helps people feel less lonely.
The problem is that bath bombs are not exactly cheap. Some of the Lush brand bath bombs (arguably the ones that started the bath bomb trend) will run you has high $8.95 plus tax and even smaller ones will cost you over $4.99 plus tax per bath. Thankfully, these bath bombs can be made at home for a fraction of the cost. (Also, neuroscientist have found DIY crafts to be beneficial to your mental health.) “I wish I could got out to dinner tonight but I just have a lot of work”, I lied in a text to a friend and snuggled up even tighter in my blankets. The truth was, I didn’t have much work at all.
